In rural Honduras, the prevalence of chronic malnutrition is 75% in children. About 50% of children hospitalized at Hospital de Occidente are moderately or severely malnourished. CAMO’s nutrition program provides assessment, treatment, and medical food supplements.

Last year CAMO provided 5,272 nutritional services to children, youth, and adults.
